Monte Rentals was created by an international team who share a passion for property, hospitality, and transparency.

Algarve vacation rentals, managed on the ground
This is not a marketplace — it's a portfolio we can actually take care of. Every apartment and villa on this page is managed by our own team in the Algarve: we do the check-ins, the cleaning, the maintenance and the 11 pm phone calls. Booking direct with us means no portal service fees and a real person nearby for the whole stay.
Where to base yourself
Albufeira holds most of our homes and suits almost everyone: Old Town charm, big beaches and restaurants for every budget. Armação de Pêra and Porches, to the west, are slower and closer to the cove beaches. Vilamoura and Quarteira, to the east, mean golf, the marina and long boardwalk breakfasts. All of it sits within forty minutes of Faro airport.
How booking direct works
The price you see is the owner's price — we add no booking fee on top. Availability is live, payment is handled securely through our booking engine, and once you reserve, you talk to the same local team from confirmation to check-out.
First-timer basics
Hire the car at Faro airport — everything on this page is within forty minutes on the A22. Tap water is drinkable, tipping is a euro or two, and dinner starts late: kitchens fill from eight. Beach flags matter here (red means stay out, even when it looks calm), and the Atlantic is refreshing in the best months — if you want warm water every day, that's what the pools are for.
